Marginalia

For centuries, readers have written in the margins: arguing with authors, asking questions, leaving small confessions at the edge of the page. Medieval scribes complained about the cold and the bad ink, and drew knights battling snails beside sacred text. These are my marginalia: poems, reflections, and the stories written alongside the work.
